Job summary

GFL Environmental, Inc is seeking a skilled technician to safely operate, repair, rebuild, and maintain Company-owned or leased heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment to ensure safe operation. The role offers paid training and a 3pm-1am Tue-Fri shift on 4x10 schedules, with weekly pay and benefits after probation.

Compensation ranges from $30-$40 per hour, with additional pay based on experience and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.
