Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to diagnose and repair diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, braking systems, engines, HVAC, and drivetrains. You will perform on-site maintenance, road service, and basic tire work to keep routes running smoothly, with opportunities for training on new technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing multi-system vehicle issues.
• Knowledge of light/medium/heavy trucks or similar equipment.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs chassis components, refuse bodies, and braking systems.
• Performs light engine, HVAC, suspension, and drivetrain work.
• Provides road service and on-site maintenance as needed.
• Identifies malfunctions using electronic tools and completes training.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
