Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician A to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, braking, HVAC, and drive systems. You will work with a dedicated team to keep our fleet performing at a high level on the road and in the yard.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience as a technician on heavy-duty trucks.
• Ability to perform inspections and repairs without supervision in some areas.
• CDL Class B or higher is a plus, not required.
• LNG and/or CNG experience is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair complex vehicle components on-site and on the road.
• Diagnose and repair chassis, engines, brakes, hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Perform diagnostics, tune-ups, and preventive maintenance.
• Complete company training programs and safety requirements.
• Identify malfunctions using electronic tools and report findings.
