Performance Foodservice in Massachusetts is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, and related equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and road-call service as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair.
• Experience with PMs, tires, brakes, diagnosis and electrical troubleshooting.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and standard component inspections/repairs.
• Inspect brakes and steering equipment for safe operation.
• Document work orders and part usage in the system.
• Coordinate road-call service and train other employees.
