Job summary

XPO is hiring a Mechanic Apprentice in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you'll perform maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty diesel equipment, following DOT and EPA regulations. Suitable candidates will have a valid driver’s license and relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in tractor and trailer inspection and repair or technical school degree with certifications.
• Available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Experience in heavy-duty truck maintenance or mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance functions on heavy-duty diesel equipment.
• Conduct safety inspections and prepare safety documentation.
• Repair or rebuild equipment systems as needed.
