Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is hiring a Diesel Mechanic in Columbus to perform routine maintenance on class 6-8 diesel equipment, including inspection, repair, and diagnostics. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, follow DOT and EPA rules, and maintain a safe work environment.

Expect pay ranges per hour with shift differentials and bonuses. Company-provided uniforms, tool allowance, health and retirement benefits are included; 9 paid holidays and PTO accrue from day one.

Qualifications

• >> 2 years experience in tractor/trailer inspection and repair or technical school with cert in heavy-duty maintenance
• ">EPA HVAC Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling Certification within 90 days of hire (ASE, MACS or equivalent)","A valid driver’s license","Basic welding skills and mechanical skills","Basic hand tools for heavy-duty maintenance","Basic computer skills","Brake inspection qualification per FMCSA 396.25","Vehicle inspection qualification per FMCSA 396.19","Open to various shifts (days/evenings/nights/weekends)"],
