Performance Foodservice in Perry Township, PA, seeks an experienced maintenance technician to perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and related equipment. You will ensure roadworthiness, document work orders, and handle onsite diagnostics and repairs with minimal supervision.

The role requires 2+ years in fleet repair including PMs, brakes, air systems, and A/C refrigeration, with a focus on safety and compliance.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• 2+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair including PMs, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, electronic component repair and experience in A/C refrigeration.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet diesel equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units) and identify root causes of basic failures.
• Ensure equipment has required licensing and registration prior to roadworthy status.
• Document work orders thoroughly in the Enterprise Asset Management system.
• Install, replace, and repair onboard computers.
• Inspect brake systems, steering, wheel bearings and other critical components for proper operation.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks, lubrication, using hand and power tools.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
