Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5–7 years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair experience including PMs, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and electronic component repair.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, and maintenance vehicles.
• Perform preventive maintenance and identify root causes of failures.
• Inspect brakes, steering, wheel bearings, and other critical components; replace parts as needed.
• Ensure roadworthy licensing and registrations before service.
• Maintain thorough documentation of work orders and repairs; use online asset management system.
• Install, replace, and repair onboard computers.
• Operate hand tools and power tools; perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Train other employees as needed.
