Job summary

Patriot Environmental Services seeks an experienced diesel mechanic to perform fleet maintenance on diesel tractors and trailers, including Vacuum, Roll Off, and Hydro trucks. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and responding to 24/7 emergency calls from a centralized base in the Western United States.

Required are a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 5 years in diesel mechanics for tractors and trailers; a Class A CDL is preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED highly preferred.
2 years of maintenance experience in hazardous waste, hydro-excavation and oilfield equipment preferred.
5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic for tractors and trailers.
Current Class A Commercial Driver License preferred.
Driving record that meets company standards and current DMV printout, required.

Responsibilities

Performs general fleet maintenance on diesel tractors and trailers such as Vacuum trucks, Roll Off trucks and Hydro trucks.
Performs appropriate activities for the safe and expedient usage of oilfield equipment.
Completes DOT 90-day and annual BIT inspections.
Answer 24/7 Emergency Response calls when on uncontrolled standby.
Follows standard guidelines and company policies and procedures for repair and maintenance of trucks.
Provide excellent customer service.
Attend follow-up safety training as required.
