Job summary

Resource Transport LLC is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair tractors and trailers, performing diagnostics across diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems. You will also handle preventative maintenance and ensure accurate service documentation in Fleetio, while upholding safety and teamwork.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in diesel or fleet maintenance, with the ability to read manuals and use CMMS tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred.
• 2+ years of diesel/heavy equipment or fleet maintenance experience.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and fleet management systems (Fleetio preferred).
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to prevent issues.
• Maintain maintenance records using CMMS (Fleetio).
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations including DOT/EPA.
• Assist with inventory of spare parts and coordinate timely replacements.
• Collaborate with maintenance team to share knowledge and best practices.
