Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Diesel Mechanic in Port Bolivar, TX to repair and maintain diesel refuse trucks. Start pay ranges from $26 to $32 per hour with overtime after 40 hours. Shifts run 10am start with 10–12 hour days; benefits kick in after 60 days. Daily inspections, diagnostics and comprehensive repairs keep the fleet road-ready.

401K after 6 months and health benefits after 60 days are part of the package. Immediate overtime opportunities exist for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing diesel refuse trucks.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance.
• Willingness to work 10–12 hour shifts with overtime after 40 hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and repair diesel/refuse trucks.
• Repair hydraulic, electrical, brake, suspension, PTO systems and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep fleet operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure vehicles are road-ready.

## Diesel MechanicApply: 2787 TX-87, Port Bolivar, TX: Full time: Posted Today: R40151Under the guidance of shop leadership, conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on both Diesel and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles to maintain GFL’s fleet in safe and continuous “road ready” condition.**Starting Pay:** **$26 to $32 per hour. More pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.** **Shift: 10am start time. Expect 10-12hr shifts M-F.
