GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Diesel Mechanic in Port Bolivar, TX to repair and maintain diesel refuse trucks. Start pay ranges from $26 to $32 per hour with overtime after 40 hours. Shifts run 10am start with 10–12 hour days; benefits kick in after 60 days. Daily inspections, diagnostics and comprehensive repairs keep the fleet road-ready.
401K after 6 months and health benefits after 60 days are part of the package. Immediate overtime opportunities exist for qualified candidates.
Competenze
- Experience repairing diesel refuse trucks.
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance.
- Willingness to work 10–12 hour shifts with overtime after 40 hours.
Mansioni
- Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and repair diesel/refuse trucks.
- Repair hydraulic, electrical, brake, suspension, PTO systems and other truck components.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep fleet operating safely and reliably.
- Perform preventative maintenance and ensure vehicles are road-ready.
