Job summary

GFL Environmental is seeking a skilled Diesel Truck and Equipment Technician to safely operate, repair, rebuild and perform maintenance on company-owned heavy-duty diesel trucks and refuse equipment in Maryland. Starting pay is $25-$35 per hour with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a 1pm–11:30pm shift, with overtime after 40 hours.

Responsibilities include daily inspections, diagnosing issues, repairing hydraulics and electrical systems, and ensuring fleet readiness.

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Starting Pay: $25-$35/hr More pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level. $5K Sign On-paid out in 2 increments Shift: 1pm-1130pm M-F. OT after 40hrs! $3 Shift Differential
