Job summary

GFL Environmental in Moreno Valley, CA seeks a diesel truck maintenance technician to safely operate, repair and maintain heavy duty trucks and equipment. Starting pay ranges from $25-$35 per hour with potential increases based on experience and certifications.

The role offers a 10am-8pm shift, overtime after 40 hours, and benefits after 60 days, plus a sign-on bonus and other incentives. Lead maintenance tasks to keep fleets ready for daily operation.

Qualifications

• Inspect and diagnose diesel refuse trucks and related equipment.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on heavy duty trucks.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, brake, suspension, PTO and other systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Safely operate, repair, rebuild and perform maintenance on Company owned or leased heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment including rolling stock to ensure its ability to operate safely

Starting Pay: $25-$35/hr More pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.

Sign On Bonus Included! $500 upon hire. $1,000 after 6 months. $1,000 after 1year.

Shift: 10am-8pm M-F. Overtime after 40hrs worked
