Job summary

GFL Environmental in Missouri is seeking a Diesel Truck Technician to safely operate, repair, rebuild and maintain company-owned heavy duty diesel refuse trucks and equipment, ensuring safe operation.

Starting pay ranges from $27-$35 per hour, with additional pay based on experience, certifications and skill level. Two shift options are available: 6am-2:30pm and 3pm-11:30pm, M-F.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation

Job description

Safely operate, repair, rebuild and perform maintenance on Company owned or leased heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment including rolling stock to ensure its ability to operate safely

Starting Pay: $27-$35/hrMore pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.

Shift: 2 Options.

1) 6am-230pm M-F (EXP Required For This Shift)2) 3pm-1130pm M-F. (Entry Level Exp Fine)
