Job summary

GFL Environmental is seeking a Heavy Duty Diesel Truck Technician in Shawnee, OK to safely operate, repair, rebuild and perform maintenance on company-owned equipment to keep it running.

Starting pay is $27-$35/hr with more pay available based on experience and certifications. We offer two shifts (6:00–2:30 and 3:00–11:30, M-F) and benefits including PTO, tool and boot reimbursements, overtime after 40 hours, health benefits after 60 days and a 401(k) after 6 months.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and braking systems.
• Commitment to safe operation and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Starting Pay: $27-$35/hrMore pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.

Shift: 2 Options.

1) 6am-230pm M-F (EXP Required For This Shift)2) 3pm-1130pm M-F. (Entry Level Exp Fine)
