Job summary

Quality Talent Group represents a global client in the building automation and industrial technology sector seeking a skilled diesel mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel and gasoline engines, transmissions, and related systems across field and shop settings. You will work with a team to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license (CDL preferred), and at least 3 years of related experience or mechanics

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; mechanics school graduates welcomed.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
• At least 3 years' related experience in heavy equipment and engine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures; repair and maintain diesel and gasoline engines.
• Maintain effective communication with supervisors and customers.
• Keep a safe, clean work area and assist other mechanics as needed.
• Document issues and procedures; demonstrate basic computer proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license, Class A or B commercial driver's license preferred
• 3 years experience directly related to the duties or mechanics school graduate (Heavy equipment diesel engines and transmissions)
• Must have good organizational skills, be able to meet strict deadlines, and document issues and procedures.
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds unassisted.

Responsibilities
