Job summary

A prestigious client in the building automation and industrial technology sector is seeking a diesel technician with strong hands-on experience. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and heavy equipment, using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex issues and perform routine maintenance to ensure fleet reliability.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of relevant experience and hold ASE Diesel Certification or OEM training as a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of diesel systems including engines, hydraulics, electrical, and fuel systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot engine or system issues using diagnostic tools.
• Certifications such as ASE Diesel Certification or OEM-specific training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on diesel engines and complex hydraulic systems.
• Conduct comprehensive repairs and rebuilds of diesel engines, transmissions, and rotary equipment components.
• Execute routine and preventive maintenance schedules to ensure fleet reliability.
• Oversee calibration and adjustment of engine controls, fuel injection systems, and emission control devices.
• Collaborate with maintenance supervisors to develop repair plans, estimate repair costs, and order necessary parts.
