Job summary

Quality Talent Group is recruiting for a diesel/heavy equipment mechanic with a strong background in diesel engines and transmissions. You will diagnose and repair engine issues, perform routine maintenance, and communicate clearly with supervisors and customers in a safe, professional manner.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license (CDL preferred), at least 3 years’ related experience or mechanics school graduation, and the ability to lift 100 pounds

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel and gasoline engines.

• Keep a safe and clean work area.
• Assist other mechanics as needed.
• Demonstrate basic computer proficiency and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license, Class A or B commercial driver's license preferred
• 3 years experience directly related to the duties or mechanics school graduate (Heavy equipment diesel engines and transmissions)
• Must have good organizational skills, be able to meet strict deadlines, and document issues and procedures.
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds unassisted.
