Job summary

Quality Talent Group is partnering with a leading client in the building automation and industrial technology sector to hire an experienced diesel mechanic in Prosper, TX. The role centers on diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment engines, transmissions, and related systems in outdoor environments.

You will troubleshoot diesel and gasoline engines, adjust ignition, fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and steering systems, and maintain a safe workspace.

Qualifications

• 3 years of related experience or diesel mechanic schooling completed.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Must lift 100 pounds unassisted.
• Must work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment failures.
• Provide repair and maintenance to diesel and gasoline engines.
• Adjust and repair ignition, fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and steering systems.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Assist other mechanics as needed.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience directly related to the duties or mechanics school graduate (Heavy equipment diesel engines and transmissions)
• Must have a valid driver's license, Class A or B commercial driver's license preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds unassisted
• Requires working outdoors in all types of weather conditions
