Job summary

Quality Talent Group seeks a seasoned Diesel Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and heavy equipment for a multinational client. You will perform advanced diagnostics, rebuilds, and routine maintenance to ensure fleet reliability across critical systems.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on experience with diesel systems, hydraulics, electrical and fuel components, plus proficiency with diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and heavy equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel systems, including engines, hydraulics, electrical, and fuel systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot engine or system issues using diagnostic tools.
  • Possession of relevant certifications such as ASE Diesel Certification or OEM-specific training (Preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on diesel engines and complex hydraulic systems.
  • Conduct comprehensive repairs and rebuilds of diesel engines, transmissions, and rotary equipment components.
  • Execute routine and preventive maintenance schedules to ensure fleet reliability.
  • Oversee calibration and adjustment of engine controls, fuel injection systems, and emission control devices.
  • Collaborate with maintenance supervisors to develop repair plans, estimate repair costs, and order necessary parts.
