Job summary

Quality Talent Group has a client in the heavy equipment and diesel engine sector seeking a skilled mechanic to diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline engines. The role involves troubleshooting equipment failures and performing maintenance on ignition, fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and steering systems.

The job requires lifting up to 100 pounds, working outdoors in all weather conditions, and a valid CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience directly related to the duties or mechanics school graduate (Heavy equipment diesel engines and transmissions)
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds unassisted
• Requires working outdoors in all types of weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment failures
• Provide repair and maintenance to diesel and gasoline engines
• Adjust and repair ignition, fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and steering systems
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Assist other mechanics as needed

Qualifications
