Job summary

R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for a Diesel Mechanic at our Hatfield, PA Service Center. The role involves day-to-day maintenance on fleet equipment, including preventative maintenance and repairs to Class 8 trucks, trailers, and potentially forklifts.

You will work Monday–Friday on the 2nd/3rd shift with opportunities for welding where available. Qualified candidates will have 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience, with knowledge of Cummins and Detroit engines and proficiency in

Qualifications

• Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines.
• Must be able to handle major repairs.
• Experience with AC and Electrical.
• Have the ability to lift 50lbs.
• Must have own tools.
• 2+ Years of Diesel Mechanic experience preferred.
• Experience in preventive maintenance of Cummins & Detroit engines.
• Experience using Cetaris used for work orders.
• Experience in Trailer PMs and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day equipment maintenance on fleet equipment, including preventative maintenance and minor to major repairs to Class 8 trucks, trailers, and possibly forklifts.
• Maintain trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies and welding as location allows.
• Ensure safety standards and documentation are properly followed.
