Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a Diesel Mechanic at our Lebanon, PA Service Center to perform day-to-day maintenance on fleet equipment, including preventative maintenance and repairs to Class 8 trucks, trailers, and possibly forklifts. Earn 1 week of vacation after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines.
• Able to handle major repairs.
• Experience with AC and electrical systems.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must have own tools.
• 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience preferred.
• Experience with Cummins engines and Detroit engines.
• Experience using Cetaris for work orders.
• Experience in trailer PMs and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and minor to major repairs on Class 8 trucks and trailers.
• Maintain forklifts and related equipment as needed.
• Handle welding and repair of doors, liftgates, and dollies, as required by location.
• Follow Cetaris work orders and maintenance procedures.

R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for Diesel Mechanics at our Lebanon, PA Service Center. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for day-to-day equipment maintenance on our fleet equipment consisting of preventative maintenance and minor to major repairs to Class 8 trucks, trailers, and potentially forklifts. This can include maintaining trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, welding depending on location.

Earn 1 week of vacation after 90 days of employment.
