R+L Carriers, Inc. in Hatfield, PA is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to perform day-to-day maintenance on our fleet, including preventative maintenance and repairs on Class 8 trucks, trailers, and related equipment.

This full-time position offers an hourly wage of $36.93 to $42.93 with Monday–Friday 2nd/3rd shifts, a strong benefits package, and vacation after 90 days at our employee-friendly service centers.

Qualifications

• Experience with preventive maintenance and diesel engine repairs.
• Ability to perform major repairs including AC and electrical work.
• Must have own tools and be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day equipment maintenance on fleet, including PMs and repairs on Class 8 trucks and trailers.
• Maintain trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, welding as needed.
• May operate or service forklifts depending on location.

Job Description:

R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for Diesel Mechanics at our Hatfield, PA Service Center. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for day-to-day equipment maintenance on our fleet equipment consisting of preventative maintenance and minor to major repairs to Class 8 trucks, trailers, and potentially forklifts. This can include maintaining trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, welding depending on location.

Requirements:

• Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines
• Must be able to handle major repairs
• Experience with AC and Electrical
• Have the ability to lift 50lbs
• Must have own tools
• 2+ Years of Diesel Mechanic experience preferred
• Experience in preventive maintenance of Cummins & Detroit engines
• Experience using Cetaris used for work orders
• Experience in Trailer PMs and repairs
