Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a Diesel Mechanic at our Piedmont, SC Service Center to perform day-to-day equipment maintenance on our Class 8 fleet, including preventive maintenance and repairs to trucks, trailers, and related equipment.

The role requires experience with diesel engines (Cummins & Detroit), AC/electrical work, lifting 50 lbs and owning the necessary tools. This full-time night shift offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines
• Must be able to handle major repairs
• Experience with AC and Electrical
• Have the ability to lift 50lbs
• Must have own tools
• 2+ Years of Diesel Mechanic experience preferred
• Experience in preventive maintenance of Cummins & Detroit engines
• Experience using Cetaris used for work orders
• Experience in Trailer PMs and repairs

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day equipment maintenance on our fleet equipment including preventative maintenance and minor to major repairs to Class 8 trucks, trailers, and potentially forklifts
• This can include maintaining trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, welding depending on location

Diesel Mechanic - $27.30 - $37.60/hr. Full-Time, Monday – Friday 3rd shift 12:00am to 10:30 am

R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for Diesel Mechanics at our Piedmont, SC Service Center. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for day-to-day equipment maintenance on our fleet equipment consisting of preventative maintenance and minor to major repairs to Class 8 trucks, trailers, and potentially forklifts.
