Job summary

R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for a Diesel Mechanic in Canton, MA. You will perform day-to-day equipment maintenance on our fleet, including preventative maintenance and repairs to Class 8 trucks and trailers.

The role features a 2nd shift (2:00pm–11:30pm), full-time hours, and PTO after the first 90 calendar days with access to our benefits and employee resorts.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines.
• Able to handle major repairs.
• Experience with AC and Electrical.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must have own tools.
• Experience in preventive maintenance of Cummins & Detroit engines.
• Experience in Trailer PMs and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on fleet equipment.
• Conduct minor to major repairs on Class 8 trucks and trailers.
• Work on trailers, overhead doors, lift gates and related equipment.
• Welding may be required depending on location.

Job Description:

R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for Diesel Mechanics at our Canton, MA Service Center. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for day-to-day equipment maintenance on our fleet equipment consisting of preventative maintenance and minor to major repairs to Class 8 trucks, trailers, and potentially forklifts. This can include maintaining trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, welding depending on location.

Requirements:
