Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a skilled diesel truck technician to perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, and repair hydraulic and electrical systems on refuse trucks. The role includes preventative maintenance to keep fleet vehicles ready for daily operation and adherence to safety standards.

Starting pay ranges from $26 to $40 per hour with benefits beginning after certain eligibility periods. A $5K sign-on bonus is offered, with overtime after 40 hours and opportunities for

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Job description

$5K Sign On Bonus-paid out in 2 installments. One payment of $2500 after 30 days the remaining $2500 after 90 days.

Starting Pay: $26 to $40 per hour. More pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.

Shift: 12pm-10pm M-F. OT after 40hrs

We pay for ASE testing! Once you get your certs is .25 bump per T Series ASE.
