Sysco is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to keep our road vehicles in top condition with preventive maintenance, inspections and timely repairs. The role covers diagnostics, electrical and mechanical systems, welding, and adherence to DOT and safety standards, ensuring minimal downtime and reliable fleet operation.

Ideal candidates bring medium/heavy-duty truck training, a high school diploma or GED, and hands-on repair experience.

Formación

• Formal training in heavy- and medium-duty trucks is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with fleet maintenance and repair is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to maximize safety and reliability.
• Conduct annual inspections on fleet vehicles as required by regulations.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems and HVAC.
• Document work performed on work orders and maintain tools.
• Follow safety procedures and learn Sysco computer programs.
