Job summary

Sysco Kansas seeks a Fleet Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and expert diagnosis on a wide range of trucks and equipment, ensuring safety and reliability.

You will conduct annual inspections (FAI/CVI), tackle electrical and mechanical repairs, and document all work. A valid driver’s license and ASE certifications are preferred; candidates should have hands-on tool skills and familiarity with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience with preventive maintenance and inspections across fleet equipment.
• Valid driver’s license required to operate company vehicles.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics and service bulletins.
• ASE/Brake Inspector certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Complete CVI/FAI inspections per regulations and state requirements.
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, and hydraulics systems.
• Document all work on work orders and maintain service records.
