Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking personnel to support fleet technicians in ensuring safe, reliable vehicles through preventive maintenance and diagnostic repairs. You will assist with inspections, troubleshooting, and documentation to reduce downtime and improve fleet reliability.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 2-year truck tech training, and ASE/ML certifications where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-year medium/heavy-duty truck technical training required.
• 1 year experience with 2-year technical degree or 3 years in fleet maintenance and repair.
• ASE Certification for Automotive or Medium/Heavy Duty.
• CDL-A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes and electrical systems.
• Document work in SAP/Work Order system (WO) with accuracy.
• Learn Sysco maintenance-related computer programs.
