SRM Concrete is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to keep our mixer trucks, loaders, dump trucks, tankers, and other heavy equipment running safely and efficiently. You will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to minimize downtime and ensure on-time deliveries across our national network.

We offer on-the-job training for entry-level candidates, a safety-driven culture, and competitive hourly pay with overtime, bonuses, and benefits. CDL is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification in diesel engine repair is a plus.
• Willingness to work variable shifts; on-the-job training available for entry-level candidates.
• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic, fleet mechanic, or heavy equipment technician is a plus.
• Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems is preferred.
• CDL is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in mixer trucks, loaders, dump trucks, tankers, and other heavy equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and determine repairs.
• Rebuild, replace, or repair major components such as engine heads, blocks, starters, and transmissions.
• Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance and repairs, minimizing downtime.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures in the workshop and on job sites.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work using company systems.
• Stay updated on the latest diesel engine technology and repair techniques.
