Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Fleet Mechanic in Texas to service mixer trucks, loaders, and other heavy equipment, ensuring reliable operation and on-time deliveries. Primary duties include preventive maintenance, inspections, and timely repairs to keep the fleet safe and productive.

Qualifications

• Experience with diesel engines and heavy equipment is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to SRM systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools to identify issues and plan repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and equipment (oil changes, lubrication, filters).
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in fleet vehicles.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and plan repairs.
• Rebuild or replace major components (engine heads, blocks, starters, transmissions).
• Coordinate with operations to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime.
• Ensure safety compliance in workshop and on job sites.
• Keep maintenance records in company systems.
• Stay updated on diesel tech through ongoing learning.
