Job summary

SRM Concrete is hiring Fleet Mechanics to keep our mixer trucks, loaders, dump trucks, tankers, and other heavy equipment running safely and efficiently. We offer on-the-job training and opportunities to grow with a national leader in ready mix.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and hydraulic and electrical systems, using diagnostic tools, with safety and teamwork as priorities. High school diploma required; CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• Entry-level and experienced diesel mechanics welcome to apply.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and plan repairs.
• Rebuild or replace major components such as engine parts and transmissions.
• Collaborate with operations to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime.
• Follow safety policies and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Stay updated on diesel technology through ongoing training.
