Waste Pro is seeking an experienced Truck Technician to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, and body systems in heavy and light duty trucks, including gasoline, diesel, and CNG systems. Welding and fabrication may be required.

Proficiency with diagnostic tools and Service Manuals is essential. The role involves repairing and maintaining equipment, coordinating with managers and drivers, and completing all required paperwork in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Know how to diagnose and repair heavy and light trucks on engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, body components and systems.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and interpreting service manuals.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses mechanical problems and repairs to maximize safe operations.
• Communicates issues with managers/drivers and suggests preventive techniques.
• Completes all required paperwork promptly.
• Follows safety policies and maintains clean work area.
• Uses vehicle electronics to interpret failure modes and plan repairs.
• Performs safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Maintains high standards of ethics and dependability.
