Job summary

FedEx Freight in the Baltimore area is seeking a Mechanic/Technician to maintain and repair our fleet of diesel tractors, trailers, forklifts, and other equipment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and document work while ensuring safety and reliability. ASE Master and Class A CDL are preferred; tools provided by the facility may be supported by a tool reimbursement program.

Qualifications

• One year of vehicle maintenance experience or completion of FedEx Freight Apprentice Program.
• ASE certifications and/or Class A CDL preferred.
• Must provide own basic maintenance tools and valid driver's license if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, forklifts, and related equipment.
• Run basic diagnostics and adjust systems for safe operation.
• Work with technicians to complete maintenance and repairs.
• Document maintenance in writing and electronically.
• Conduct safety inspections and document findings.
• Perform paint and body work as needed.
