Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment across our fleet. Under supervision, you’ll work on chassis, hydraulics, brakes, HVAC, and more to keep trucks on the road and drivers supported.

This role offers on-the-job training, opportunities to learn new technologies, and a stable shift in a safety-focused environment with competitive wages and benefits.

Competenze

• Diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate technical expertise.
• Prior maintenance experience on heavy/light trucks or related equipment.
• ASE Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
• CDL is a plus but not required.
• 3-5 years of technician experience or automotive college/technical school graduation within 3 months.

Mansioni

• Maintain knowledge and proficiency in vehicle components and systems to perform preventative and repair maintenance on-site and on the road.
• Chassis component repair and maintenance.
• Refuse bodies and associated hydraulic/electrical systems; air and hydraulic braking systems.
• Light engine repair and maintenance.
• Suspension, drivetrain and steering systems.
• Heating and air conditioning.
• Performs line welding and fabrication.
• Safely provides road service to return equipment to operation.
• Identifies malfunction sources using electronic tools.
• Completes training programs and other duties as assigned.
