Job summary

Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician A to repair and maintain tractor and trailer equipment at our Reyes Coca Cola Bottling shop in Redding, CA. The role may require working one Sunday per month at our Eureka location, with Fridays off during those weeks.

Shift is full-time, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Pay ranges from $37.00 to $39.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include PTO, holidays, and comprehensive health coverage.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of related experience.
Technical School Certification is a plus.
CDL (License A) is highly desired; mandatory in some locations.
Must possess own tools.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units).
Document work orders for repairs and preventive maintenance online.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic tools.
Perform detailed inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
Adhere to DOT/OSHA safety standards and use PPE and tools properly.
Maintain Driver Qualification files: MVR checks, DOT physical and drug screening.
Some travel may be required.
Other duties as assigned.
