Job summary

Sysco Corp. in Jessup, MD is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-efficient vehicle operations. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, inspections, and expert diagnoses to minimize downtime and maximize fleet reliability.

Typical shifts are 2nd (2PM–10:30PM) or 3rd (10:30PM–6AM) with shift differential. Must have medium/heavy-duty truck tech training and a valid driver's license; annual tool allowance provided and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Medium/Heavy Duty truck tech training required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and fleet repairs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and vehicle inspections within schedule.
• Carry out inspections (FAI/CVI) per regulations.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Document work on work orders and maintain equipment records.
• Learn Sysco computer programs and safety procedures.
