Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Repair Technician to service our fleet. You will perform repairs, diagnostics, and routine maintenance on heavy trucks and equipment per schedules and DVIRs, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Candidates should have high school/GED, strong mechanical aptitude, and experience reading repair manuals, electrical diagrams, and schematics. Willingness to work nights/weekends and travel between sites is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience reading repair manuals, electrical diagrams and schematics required.
• Ability to safely perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and maintenance of fleet vehicles per schedules and DVIRs.
• Diagnose issues and complete necessary repairs and replacements.
• Check and change fluids and filters; inspect safety devices.
• Complete paperwork and maintain records of work orders and parts.
• Interact professionally with customers and teammates.
