FedEx Freight is seeking a Mechanic/Technician in Salt Lake City to maintain and repair our diesel tractor fleet, trailers, forklifts, and related equipment. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and documentation, with opportunities for certifications and tuition reimbursement.

The role requires relevant experience or completion of the FedEx Freight Apprentice Program, ASE certifications, and a valid CDL may be required.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• One year vehicle maintenance experience or completion of FedEx Freight Apprentice Program.
• One or more Medium/Heavy Truck ASE Certifications and Class A CDL preferred.
• Must possess necessary tools to perform tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, forklifts, and equipment.
• Perform basic diagnostics and adjustments for safe operation.
• Collaborate with technicians to perform maintenance and repairs.
• Document all maintenance in reports (written and electronic).
• Conduct safety inspections and document results.
• Assist with paint and body work as required.
• Comply with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
