Job summary

Sysco Foods seeks a skilled fleet maintenance technician in Ohio to perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and expert repairs on tractors, trailers, and equipment. You will diagnose issues and perform repairs to OEM specs, ensuring safety and reducing downtime while adhering to all regulations.

The role requires 2-year schooling with 1 year of experience or 3 years in fleet maintenance, valid driver's license, and relevant certifications; tools provided by Sysco with some personal tools

Qualifications

• Formal training in medium/heavy duty truck tech or equivalent.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• ASE certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to maximize safety and reliability.
• Conduct Annual inspections (FAI/CVI) on fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose faults and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Follow work orders and document procedures.
• Learn Sysco computer programs and use diagnostic software.
