Job summary

Sysco Foods Louisville is seeking an experienced Fleet Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on our commercial vehicles. You will diagnose, repair and service tractors, trailers, and related equipment to reduce breakdowns and downtime.

Candidates should have medium/heavy-duty truck training, a high school diploma, and 2 years of fleet maintenance experience or 3 years, plus ASE certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training and a high school diploma or GED.
• 2 years of fleet maintenance experience or 3 years of experience.
• Current and valid driver's license.
• ASE certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to maximize safety and reliability.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, braking, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Complete work orders and document all maintenance performed.
• Learn Sysco computer programs and use diagnostic software.
