Job summary

Sysco in Anchorage, AK is seeking an Apprentice Fleet Technician to support Fleet Technician II and III by learning to perform quality preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on company vehicles and equipment.

You will gain hands-on experience with inspections, repairs on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and lift-gates; under guidance of senior technicians, ensuring safety and reliability across the fleet.

Qualifications

• No experience required
• CDL preferred
• Technicians must own and provide all tools

Responsibilities

• Learn to perform inspections and preventive maintenance under guidance of Fleet Technician II & III or Fleet supervisor.
• Learn to perform FAI/CVI inspections on all fleet vehicles per regulatory requirements.
• Learn to diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electricals, brake and HVAC under supervision.
• Follow documentation procedures and use Sysco computer programs for work orders.
