Job summary

Sysco is hiring a Fleet Technician in Anchorage, AK. The role involves performing inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on company fleet vehicles and equipment to maximize safety and reliability.

Ideal candidates have medium/heavy-duty truck technical training, or 2-year school plus 4 years of experience, or 5 years in fleet maintenance. ASE and EPA 608 certifications highly valued; CDL preferred but not required. Sysco offers excellent benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL preferred, not required.
• 2-year school plus 4 years of experience or 5 years in fleet maintenance and repair.
• ASE certifications & EPA 608 (Core & Type II) highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment to maximize safety and reliability.
• Perform annual inspections (FAI/CVI) on fleet vehicles per regulations.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, HVAC, and other systems per manufacturer specs.
• Maintain and repair refrigeration units (reefer) and lift-gates as needed.
• Document work orders and mentor Fleet Technician I/II for development.
