Job summary

FedEx Freight in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Mechanic/Technician to maintain and repair our fleet of diesel tractors, trailers, forklifts, and related equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and document work while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of vehicle maintenance experience; ASE certifications and Class A CDL are preferred. Eligible for tuition reimbursement and tool allowances.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of vehicle maintenance experience or related certificate.
• One or more Medium/Heavy Truck ASE Certifications and Class A CDL preferred.
• Must possess necessary tools to perform tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative and routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Performs basic diagnostics to identify trouble sources and makes necessary adjustments.
• Works with other technicians in preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Ensures proper documentation of maintenance, with reports written and electronic.
• Performs safety inspections and documents the work.
