Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks. Under supervision, you’ll support drivers and maintain our fleet with routine servicing, oil changes and basic electrical work, ensuring safety and reliability on routes.

The role offers training and opportunities for growth within a large, community-focused environmental services company.

Qualifications

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
• ASE Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.
• 1-3 years of experience in vehicle maintenance.
• Valid Driver’s License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems for preventive maintenance and some repair.
• Perform oil changes, fluids replenishment, tire changes, and light repairs.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify issues and sources of malfunctions using a variety of tools.
