Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking skilled diesel technicians for maintenance of diesel engines, trucks and forklifts. You will inspect, diagnose and repair equipment, perform safety inspections, and ensure work meets manufacturer specifications and regulatory standards.

The role requires the ability to read work orders, use hand tools and testing equipment, and work flexible shifts including nights and weekends. Valid CDL and FMCSA compliance may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
• 1+ year experience and/or completion of trade school
• Must own tools
• Ability to use hand tools and test equipment
• Knowledge of heavy truck repairs and diesel engine systems
• CDL and FMCSA requirements for driving on public roads (if applicable)
• Willingness to work nights/weekends and in variable weather

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on diesel engines, trucks and forklifts
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and service equipment
• Complete safety inspections and FMCSA/documentation requirements
• Interpret work orders and manuals
• Repair or replace defective parts and systems
• Test equipment after service to ensure compliance with specs
