Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking a maintenance technician to repair and maintain diesel engines, trucks, and forklifts. You will inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and service equipment, and perform safety inspections with FMCSA and other regulatory documentation.

The role requires interpreting work orders and manuals, replacing defective parts, and testing equipment to ensure compliance with manufacturer specs and regulations. Regular attendance and ability to work in various shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience or trade school background.
• Must own tools and be able to use hand tools.
• CDL may be required if driving on public roads; FMCSA rules may apply.
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs and work in awkward positions.

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventive maintenance of diesel engines, trucks and forklifts.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and service equipment.
• Perform safety inspections and prepare FMCSA and other regulatory documents.
