Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking skilled diesel/CNG vehicle mechanics to diagnose, repair, and maintain the fleet to a road-ready condition. Working under shop leadership, you will perform brake, engine, emission, and electrical work and conduct test drives to verify repairs.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of diesel/CNG maintenance experience, familiarity with DOT/OSHA regulations, and preferred ASE certifications. CDL within six months is advantageous; training and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of diesel/CNG maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations.
• Experience with diagnostic software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain Diesel and CNG fleet.
• Test drive trucks to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform DOT and brake inspections on all vehicles.
• Complete reports and work orders; order parts as needed.
• Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
